Farsak seeks two Hardware in the Loop (HIL) Engineers (1~ Senior & 1~ Junior level) to lead & expedite our client’s product development & systems integration efforts.
Both roles are contract-based and will be onsite in the Detroit Metro Area.
Qualifications and Experiences
Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering as part of combined HW/SW systems
Experience in dSPACE or NI control and automation desk software & HIL simulators
Expertise with developing test procedures for automated execution, implementing tests using HIL equipment, documenting and reviewing execution reports, reporting incidents, and tracking software updates to fix issues
Solid background in software test design and knowledge in functional partitioning, electrical and communication architectures
Experience in bench testing of distributed systems, including bench functional integration, test execution, measuring and instrumentation, incident reporting, and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of embedded controller networks (CAN, LIN), ECU diagnostic, and network communication tools to verify and troubleshoot.
Deep knowledge in at least one discipline, including electrical, mechanical, or software engineering.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience writing requirements documents and design specifications
Years of experience in automotive software, models, or control development in MATLAB/Simulink or bench execution activities like Validation, Verification & Testing.
BS/MS in electrical, mechanical, computer, or systems engineering preferred.
