Job description:
As a Systems Design Engineer you will get to build mathematical models, perform system analysis, design and implement controllers, design robotic algorithms, evaluate system performance and provide feedback to mechanical and electrical team.
We look to have a subject matter expert to both lead this MBSE implementation, and utilize these modeling tools for a more sophisticated and robust approach to system architecture and design.
Qualifications and Experiences
- MS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or other related fields with 5+ years of proven record of designing and implementing controllers for electromechanical products or PhD in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or other related fields
- Solid foundation in control theory (stability analysis, frequency and time domain analysis, continuous- and discrete-time systems, state space analysis)
- Expertise in system identification of linear and nonlinear systems
- Deep understanding of mechanism design
- Provides leadership iExperience with SysML C/C++, Python & Matlab/Simulinkn implementing testing strategies to achieve extensive testing capabilities across multiple vehicle platforms.
- Background in robotics (preferred)
